Picnic at Mt. Pisgah Altar

For quite some time, Jeff & I have been wanting to visit this spot not too far from where we live, so we decided to take a picnic supper there. It was a gorgeous day to go & the view was incredible! Ryleigh thought it was great fun & enjoyed running off some her extra energy.

Nice shirt, Ryleigh! Did Mommie make it or did Daddy buy it? Where ever you got it, we love the message you're sending!!

Hi. I got to your site from Myranda's site. I don't no you, but I attended GBS. Anyway, my brother took my husband and me to Mt. Pisgah when we stopped off at their house in PA on our honeymoon over 16 years ago. So, I recognized this place. Maybe you know him: Stephen Uncapher.

Hi, Judith! Your brother's name doesn't 'ring a bell,' but doesn't necessarily mean anything. Even though I've lived in PA for seven years, there are still people in this area that I don't know.

Hello, I'm sorry, I know you don't know me, but My wife and I were married there 6 years ago and were blessed with a day like u had. Very nice pictures. Anyway,I would like to take her there as part of a surprise and can't seem to remember how to get there. Could you possibly give some sort of idea of how to get there from Lewisburg? TIA for any help at all u can offer.

Dear Anonymous,
If you're coming from Lewisburg, you'll need to follow 522 towards Beaver Springs. When you're almost out of town, make a left onto Rte. 235. Take that up to the top of the mountain. As you crest the mountain, there will be a big sign & a dirt road to your left. Hope that helps & you're able to pull off the surprise!
