For our vacation, this year, we visited New England (Cape Cod/Boston area). It was the off season, so we didn't get to really enjoy the beach, but there was SO much to see & do that we've already decided that we want to go back when the kids are old enough to really enjoy it. We stayed in Yarmouth, MA, but ended up taking several day trips to see the sights. If we go again, we'll probably stay closer to Boston & take a day trip or two to Cape Cod.
Our first day was spent relaxing & getting settled. About midday, we decided to take a leisurely drive up the peninsula to Provincetown, where the Pilgrims first came ashore in the New World. We drove through several quaint little seaside towns that were so neat!
We saw this sign for a B & B as we were driving through Provincetown & just had to take a picture.
This is as far onto the beach as I ventured. The wind coming off the ocean was bitterly cold!
We decided to visit the Pilgrim Monument & Museum. The view from the top was definitely worth the climb. Incidentally, Ryleigh insisted on climbing all the way up AND down by herself!

It sure looks like a neat place to visit. What a little trooper to do all the climbing herself, they are so funny about being independent.
This is the 1st time to see your blog....your photos are beautiful!
