A Week In the Life: Tuesday Photos + Words

Jeff is up @ 5:30 a.m. to get ready to go hunting. He wakes me up just before he leaves at 6 a.m.
Grant wakes up at the same time for his first morning feeding, then back to bed for him. I enjoy having my devotions while the house is quiet.

A cup of French Vanilla Cafe is the perfect addition to this chilly Fall morning! (Actually, we woke up to the first frost of the season this morning.)

Ryleigh wakes up @ 7 a.m. She listens to her VeggieTales lullaby CD & plays w/her baby dolls & grocery basket for awhile. I work on editing & blogging pictures from Monday.

Grant gets a bath in the sink.
Getting dressed for the day.
The Boonie & Son fuel truck arrives. Ryleigh watches as the man fills our tank.

Ryleigh helps me wash the dishes while Grant plays in his exersaucer.
Jeff gets back from hunting. He takes a shower & then we head to Mifflinburg to pick up Jeff's car that was being repaired by Dave Shoemaker.
Stop to get the mail on the way out of town. Yay! My new Ali Edwards book has arrived!
Home from town. I eat lunch & feed Grant. He plays in his pack n play while I scrapbook.
Jeff & Ryleigh get home. Jeff picks some more pears off our tree.
I decide to do some Fall decorating while the kids are napping.
I can't help but do more spray painting - it's an addiction! ;-)

Jeff decides that he's hungry for some of his Mom's peach cobbler - so he makes some.

I'm blessed to have a man that can/enjoys cooking!

Ryleigh is SO excited to go to Matt & Christina's house tonight because...

the presidential debates are tonight...
...the guys have some work to do.

Watching the debates online. Disappointed - neither of the candidates did very well in my opinion.

Christina is excited about spending extra time with Grant.

Grant really enjoys all the space to roll around & try crawling.

Someone's getting tired & restless. (I know that it may seem cruel to take a picture of my child while she's being punished, but truly... if I had a dollar for every time she got in trouble, I'd be very rich lady! Besides - it's a necessary part of LIFE at this point in time....)

I have enjoyed this post (and the last one as well)! It's so fun to get a peak into your daily routine. Hmmm... I may do something similar soon - probably not a whole week. :)

What was the side dish Jeff cooked with the pasta? It looks great and now I am hungry.

What cute pictures of Grant and Ryleigh. I can't believe Grant is almost crawling.

Hugs to all

The side dish was fresh zucchini & onions sauteed in a little olive oil w/a little bit of mozzarella cheese on top. It was delicious!

Shari, these pics have been so fun to look at this week! I don't know how you get everything done that you do! Both you and Jeff are great cooks, and yes you are lucky he likes to---I am going to try the fresh zucchini dish sometime.

My grandbabies are so precious....I NEED to be there!

Love you all,
Mom
