Ta Da!

I have finished it at last. No, Tom, it's not a cat. :-) It's actually an elf stocking cap for a newborn. Ever since I saw these on Etsy, I've wanted to try to duplicate it. Only problem is that I'm really not all that great at knitting & I didn't want to pay the price that they're selling for. So...I found a similar crochet pattern & made my own. Comparing the two, I'm not quite as happy with how mine turned out, but I think it'll still be cute for what I have in mind. Now, if I can just find a newborn to photograph, I'll be happy!

I thought it was a cat at first too! :) Where do you find time to do this stuff?

I usually work on it while I'm riding in the car or sometimes while I'm talking/visiting with someone. My family has totally gotten used to this & doesn't bother them - they know I'm listening! ;-)

I've seen those adorable little hats all over Etsy! So cute - yours too :)
I would be so intimidated to try making my own crochet pattern - you did great!

Thanks, Andrea, but I didn't make my own pattern. I bought the pattern off of Etsy.
