Practice, practice, practice....

Martha Robertson, our former church secretary/janitor, is getting married August 29th. We're very sad to be losing her, but happy for her & proud that she will make Joe David a wonderful wife. She has asked me to photograph her wedding. Yikes! I love taking pictures, but... I'm NOT professional by any means. I am very honored that she has such faith in me, though, & I have agreed to give it my best shot (no pun intended)! So if you think of it, say a quick prayer for me because I am very nervous & scared that I will ruin her once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for good wedding photos.

I have been wanting to get a Canon Rebel for some time, now, so we took the plunge & I now have a new camera that I'm spending lots of time trying to get to know. I have been taking it with me almost everywhere I go & trying to practice every spare moment. As a result, I have a lot more photos. Hmm... I think this is good thing!
